Jeremy Scott isn’t the only big news happening to Moschino.
To celebrate 30 years of iconic silhouettes, the Italian fashion house teamed up with Rent the Runway to release an exclusive capsule collection of gown and cocktail dresses.
Moschino came to life in 1983 by Franco Moschino who kept his namesake brand colorful and innovative while challenging fashion’s norms. When Moschino passed away in 1994 of a heart attack, his assistant Rossella Jardini became creative director until Monday’s announcement, appointing Scott to the position.
Expect the collection to feature some of Franco’s signature motifs like peace signs and hearts. The pieces will be available to rent for 4 or 8 days acting as an added bonus for the existing 45,000 dresses from 190 luxury designers.
As if you needed another reason to visit that gorgeous showroom in Henri Bendel’s, right?
