Once again, Nicolas Ghesquière proves to be a very creative creative director for Louis Vuitton. His latest project is a groundbreaking and artistic campaign for Vuitton’s Fall’14 collection, dubbed “Series 1.”

The campaign, which will appear in magazines in August and as a one minute video on Vuitton’s website and social media outlets, is the collaboration of a triple threat team of photographers and an all-star roster of models, whom Ghesquière calls “contemporary heroines.”

Photographers Bruce Weber, Annie Leibovitz and Juergen Teller were given the freedom to interpret the Fall collection their way (Teller even used a silver Maserati as a prop), and stars actress Charlotte Gainsbourg and models Liya Kebede, Freja Beha Erichsen and Jean Campbell.

The blend of images were taken in New York, Miami and Venice, and will contribute to what the brand calls “a fashion gallery.” Take a first look at the print ads and Leibovitz’ video interpretation.

Will we see a Series 2, 3, or 4 in Ghesquière and Vuitton’s future?
