You’ve had the songs on repeat and helped rack up millions of views on YouTube, and now the nominations for the MTV VMAs have just been announced. Rihanna and Drake tie for the most nods with 5 each, while Katy Perry comes in a close second with 4, beating out the likes of Jay-Z and Kanye, Beyoncé, and Coldplay. The competition will be fierce as new acts like The Wanted, Frank Ocean, Fun.and Carly Rae Jepsen are also in the running for the coveted Moonman. Here are a few highlights from the nominees list:
