#NYFW 3.1 Phillip Lim Fall 2011

As always, Phillip Lim‘s gorgeous offerings looked divine contrasted against the industrial venue. This season, Lim drew inspiration from the idea of a “loitering presence.” Models weaved in and out giving a wandering, slightly lost effect. Colors in melon, bisque and praline were as warm as they were delicious, and jackets and trousers in shamrock green were so bright it was almost as if someone had plugged them in! From look one to look forty-one, each piece was refined and detailed, highlighting Lim’s keen eye for nuance.
