#NYFW Adam Fall 2011

Adam’s Fall 2011 collection is for the woman who loves to get dressed. “She appreciates the discovery in the everyday and reflects it in her personal style,” said designer Adam Lippes in his show notes. Inspired by an exhibit he saw at the National Museum of the American Indian, Lippes embraced the culture of native peoples ranging from Alaska to Argentina. Cobalt added a pop of color to a collection dominated by black and white prints and plaids. Knit wool sweaters, dresses and coats utilized texture to add a sense of richness, while soft lace t-shits added a light touch. A tribal influence was apparent in embroidered jackets, capes and cardigans. Lippes’ creations are sure to make fall a bit more fab!
