#NYFW Anna Sui Fall 2011

The celebs came in droves for Anna Sui; Fergie, Sofia Coppola, Vanessa Hudgens and Karen Elson all stepped out to support the designer as she presented an array of her signature prints during a fun and lighthearted runway show. Models opened and closed the show walking in threes, amping up the drama. Those craving Sui’s usual fare of boho-inspired frocks in deep purple and green would not be disappointed. There were plenty of the classics, but Sui also offered a bit of schoolgirl appeal in peterpan collars and shorter shifts. Then things got really whimsical when the fur hats in the shape of cats started cropping up, eliciting smiles from the audience.

Models walk the runway in groups of three to open and close the show.
