#NYFW Carolina Herrera Fall 2011

Carolina Herrera’s Fall 2011 collection was the perfect Valentine’s Day treat. This season conveyed a rich international sensibility. Gray wool served as the season’s canvas though there was certainly no shortage of color; pirate, turquoise, saphire, cocoa, and jasper red rounded out an inspired and worldly palette. Velvet accents made a lush statement while sparkly sequins added a touch of red carpet glamour. Expect to see a few of Herrera’s creations on Oscar night.
