#NYFW Chris Benz Fall 2011

Chris Benz’s Fall 2011 presentation exuded a youthful elegance, and soft yellow, gray and blue hues prevailed. Heavier, belted jackets, capes and multiple layers added plenty of dimension. Floral prints and tiers of chiffon looked fresh and delicate while wool, fur-trimmed coats and wide-legged trousers grounded the collection’s airier elements and gave the collection a bit of a retro vibe. Benz knows just how to point to the past while still keeping a sharp eye on the current, modern girl.
