#NYFW Derek Lam Spring 2012

Derek Lam was California dreaming with his Spring 2012 collection. This season he placed himself in a mid-century Palm Springs home with Sinatra and the Rat Pack crooning by the piano, which resulted in luxe confections that harken back to a bygone era. Both minimalist and detailed, pieces were perfectly pretty and decidedly serious. Caramel bonded leather brought in ’70s style, while a silver sequin suspended tile dress added a dazzling disco era moment. And with a show as beautiful as this one, you can’t help but love Lam!
