#NYFW DKNY Spring 2012

Leave it to Donna Karan to so perfectly and vividly capture the spirit of the city and our country with a collection that looked forward with a sense of hope and optimism. For Spring 2012, DKNY celebrated American art and culture. Fusing West Coast ease with East Coast edge, the look was chic, cool, and upbeat. A bold palette dominated by patriotic red, white, and blue with a pop of pink for good measure was refreshingly modern. Abstract prints, geometric patters, and color blocking made for intriguing designs. Every piece in this collection was made for life on the move in this busy and beautiful world. This season DKNY paid homage to the “American Woman,” who is always creative, expressive, and free!
