#NYFW Rebecca Minkoff Fall 2011

Sure we love her bags, but today Rebecca Minkoff made her Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week ready-to-wear debut at Lincoln Center. Inspired by Charlotte Kemp Muhl, the collection embodied the urban gypsy. The contrast of luxury and a Bohemian sensibility played out in unexpected mixes of textures and fabrics with soft leather and tweed being shown alongside sequins and chiffon. Blood reds, midnight royals, stone grays and camel dominated the palette with painterly stripes adding a bit of unique edge. Britt Bardo styled the eclectic collection, which seamlessly included Minkoff’s coveted accessories. “I want everything she makes,” said Stephanie Pratt, who sat front row alongside Lo Bosworth, Jessica Szohr, Eve and Michelle Trachtenberg. We do, too!
