#NYFW Ruffian Spring 2012

Several designers have been interpreting sportswear this season and the Ruffian boys are right on that.

Their unique inspiration and gallant colors came from from horse jockeys, as color-blockinng combos like green and blue are usually reserved for their uniforms. Big racing stripes on sleeves, skirts, and diagonal slashes across the body are another clue and these fabulous, distinctive motifs are sure to turn heads everywhere.

Redheads Rose McGowan and Carrie Preston were among the brand’s early rising devotees who joyfully took it all in.
