#NYFW Tracy Reese Fall 2011
By Emily Popp
February 14, 2011
Tracy Reese opened her Fall 2011 show to the sounds of Kanye West, as models walked to “All of the Lights,” an appropriate song choice for a show that was an ode to illumination. A glittering chandelier hung at the top of the runway, creating an intimate and ultra-romantic feel. Lovely neutrals in blush, nude and gray served as a happy reminder that today is Valentine’s Day. Electric shocks of jewel tones lit up the shift dresses, skirts, capes and blouses. Reese peppered her collection with feminine touches; ruffles, sequins and her signature floral print felt young and girly while demure hemlines falling at the knees added a touch of sophistication and floor-grazing skirts gave off a cool, hippy vibe. We are feeling the love!
