#NYFW Zac Posen Spring 2012

Zac is back! For Spring 2012 Zac Posen brought his eponymous label back to the New York runway, which is exactly where it belongs. Gotham’s design darling showed on the balcony at Avery Fisher Hall. With a travertine runway and a view of the Lincoln Center fountain at dusk, the scene was nothing short of spectacular.

The couture finishes and sleek angular construction that typify Posen’s designs were as splendid as ever. And while he was feeling blue for his palette – navy, cornflower, indigo, midnight, steel and powder dominated – Posen was clearly exuberant. Loyal friend and fan Coco Rocha opened and closed the show in his elegant confections. It was one of those New York fashion moments that captivated the entire audience!
