Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl are married! This official news comes just a week after Page Six reported (inaccurately) that the couple had wed last weekend. It turns out, the couple got hitched yesterday, and the bride is sharing some of the details from her big day.
The newlyweds tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Bedford, NY on Saturday surrounded by close friends and family. Palermo shared the first image from their wedding day and a link to a blog post about the happy news on Sunday, tweeting, “I’m proud to share the exciting news with everyone.”
Palermo wore a Carolina Herrera cream cashmere sweater with ostrich feathers, white shorts, and a matching tulle skirt overlay with a large front slit and floral detailing for her walk down the aisle. She paired the look with cobalt Manolo Blahniks to serve as her “something blue” while Alexandra Mor stud earrings and a bracelet from Jodhpur India offered the perfect dose of dazzle. Huebl complemented her look with a bespoke white Marc Anthony Hamberg suit with a navy Charvet tie and matching Etro pocket square.
Palermo and Huebl became engaged on New Year’s Day this year after dating since 2008. They were spotted on a Tuesday at the Marriage Bureau Clerk’s Office, presumably to pick up their license. The pair chose a small service in a quiet park for their nuptials. “We really wanted to keep this beautiful day very private and special to us and enjoyed the whole day with our family and two friends,” Palermo shared in the entry. “Bedford is such an amazing and romantic countryside.”
Congrats to the happy couple!
