THE DEETS: Celebrities are quite familiar with the art of signing their names, between countless autograph requests and the piles of contracts they need to tend to, it’s safe to assume they’ve got their signatures down pat. And on Saturday afternoon, their John Hancocks became all the more important. With the help of Academy Award winner Hilary Swank, Montblanc launched it’s “Signature for Good” campaign to benefit UNICEF and educational initiatives for children in need worldwide; Montblanc will donate part of the proceeds from every piece sold to raise at least $1.5 million for the organization. Guests, including Emmy Rossum, Rosario Dawson,UNICEF Ambassador Alyssa Milano, Louise Roe, Alan Arkin, Billy Zane, Jesse Metcalfe, Peter Fonda, Jesse Williams, Madalina Ghenea, Alexander Ludwig, Danny Huston, Stacey Keach, Martin Landau, Alfrie Woodard, Mimi Rogers, Maria Bravo, and Jane Seymour, were treated to potent espresso, mimosas, a custom omelet station and other delicacies amidst the hotel’s lush landscape. With Oscar energy filling the air, “This was the perfect time to do this,” said Swank as she greeted Montblanc International CEO Lutz Bethge. “I can’t believe this turnout, I have goose bumps.”  Swank recounted her experiences on a recent trip to Ethiopia before Opera singer and Montblanc Brand Ambassador Shenyang left the crowd speechless with an incredible performance.
