Though Amy Adams hustled through awards season, nabbing a Golden Globe along the way, she didn’t come away with an Oscar of her own. Nevertheless, the star stunned in a navy Gucci gown and looked polished to perfection thanks to Renato Campora and Stephen Sollitto.
For her tresses, Campora crafted a slick French twist by first prepping her strands with a generous amount of Kérastase’s Mousse Bouffante before parting the hair on the left side. He then applied the brand’s Forme Fatale from mid-lengths to ends and blowdried it with a round brush for smoothness before pulling it into the twist, pinning it in place. He added more of the Forme Fatale throughout the sections for added shine. He curled the remaining top section with a 1-inch barrel iron for waves, letting them cool before pulling them back into the twist. He pinned the section in place, sealing the style with a spritz of the Laque Couture.
Sollitto opted for a sophisticated look to pair with her sleek hairdo, prepping the skin with RéVive’s Moisturizing Renewal Cream. He evened her tone with Laura Mercier’s new Smooth Finish Flawless Fluide and added a flush to the cheek with Tom Ford Beauty Cheek Colour in Ravish. The eyes had a gentle wash of Mercier’s Baked Eye Colour in Terracotta with a dab of the Caviar Eye Stick Colour in Sugar Frost in the inner corners. He lined the top lash with NARS Eye Paint Liner in Tatar and the bottom with Mercier’s Baked Eye Colour in Black Karat with a few swipes of Dior Black Out Mascara for good measure. The lips got a glossy makeover thanks to a combination of Mercier’s Rouge Nouveau Weightless Lip Colour in Cozy and Tom Ford Beauty ‘s Ultra Shine Lip Gloss in Rose Crush.
