Our Favorite Moments from the 2013 Golden Globe Awards

By  January 13, 2013

Didn’t catch the 2013 Golden Globes tonight? Don’t worry!  Check out our favorite moments (and view the full list of winners here).

-Our Golden Globe ‘Best Smile’ award goes to Amy Poehler, who snuck on screen with some hilarious fake teeth while the nominees for Best Actress in a Mini-Series or TV Show were being announced.

-Adele snagged the award for Best Original Song and got quite the look from Taylor Swift!

-Bill Clinton received an extremely warm welcome to the stage while introducing Lincoln. Hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler freaked out and even referred to him as “Bill Rodham Clinton”.

-Will Ferrell and Kristin Wiig cracked us up on stage during their lengthy and hilarious introducing Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical. Everyone laughed as they struggled to describe the films, except Tommy Lee Jones who did not look impressed. Jennifer Lawrence won the award and looked stunning in a red Dior Haute Couture gown.

-We absolutely adored Lucy Liu’s floral Carolina Herrera gown!

-Sasha Baron Cohen took the stage to introduce Best Animated Feature Film carrying a glass of sherry. Tina and Amy also came out with drinks, joking “look how drunk Glenn Close is” and “glad we got you through middle school, Lena. Other hilarious Amy and Tina quotes included “Taylor Swift, stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son. No really, she needs ‘me’ time to learn about herself.”

-Jason Bateman carried Aziz Ansari on stage to introduce Best Actress in a Comedy Series and Aziz quipped “Wow, the cast of Downton Abbey had some really great weed backstage” (PS: Lena Dunham won the award!)

-Amy Poehler was caught canoodling with George Clooney.

-Girls won the award for best TV Show in a Comedy and and we have one question…was Lena Dunham wearing some uncomfortable shoes? She seemed to have trouble walking, she should have gone with Converse like Amy and Tina! [Update: Lena's shoe mystery has been solved!]

-Ben Affleck forgot a few names during his acceptance speach for Argo and had wife Jennifer Garner announce them as she took the stage.

We’ll end with one of our favorite quotes from the hilarious hosts:

“This next presenter is so good looking, he makes young George Clooney look like garbage.” -Tina
“Please welcome, middle aged George Clooney.” -Amy
