Our Must Have Hue: Mint Madness

By  January 24, 2013

From strands to style, this season is all about the romance of pastels, preferably the magic of mint green. Top designers like Vera Wang, Diane von Furstenberg, and Tibi featured the shade on the Spring/Summer 2013 runway, Jessica Chastain and Rosario Dawson donned variations of the color on the Golden Globes red carpet, and even Nike couldn’t ignore the trend, recently introducing the Lunar Rod sneaker in “Mint Crystal” to kickoff their spring collection. When making mint a part of your daily wardrobe, don’t be afraid to try the monochrome look. For example,  pair those Rag & Bone skinnies with Topshop’s adorable owl sweater in the same color. If you’re looking to try the shade in a more dressed up style, do camel, nude, or transparent pumps with a mint shift dress for day or a hip hugging sheath in the hue for evening, and don’t forget to accessorize with seafoam jewels and accessories.
