THE PARTY: Celebrating 60 Years of Chloe

THE PLACE: Barney’s New York on Madison Avenue

THE DEETS: The fashionable set gathered at Barney’s New York on Wednesday night to celebrate Chloè’s 60th anniversary. To celebrate this milestone, the French brand re-edited some of it’s most iconic fashion moments, 16 to be exact, creations by Gaby Aghion, Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philio and Hannah MacGibbon. Pieces were positioned around the Chloè boutique on the third floor of Barney’s New York as guests like models Atlanta de Cadenet, Bonnie Chen, Julie Henderson, actress Cody Horn, designers Timo Weiland, Joseph Altuzarra milled about eating cotton candy and dancing to tunes spun by Harley Viera Newton. Chloè IT girls of years past, Chloë Sevigny and Pat Cleveland, spun around the room wearing vintage creations from the brand. Barney’s CEO Mark Lee, creative director Dennis Freedman, creative ambassador Simon Doonan and Chloè designer Clare Waight Keller sipped champagne with party goers as old Chloé runway shows played on TVs and balloons tied with long braids, an ode to Barney’s window installations created by famed-hairstylist Bob Recine—now that’s a celebration!
