THE PARTY: Maison Jules Launch Party

THE PLACE: C24 Gallery, NYC

THE DEETS: On Tuesday night, we joined Macy’s as they celebrated the launch of Maison Jules, a new womenswear brand inspired by Parisian street style. The chic event was hosted by campaign photographer and blogger extraordinaire Garancé Dore and Paris’ it-girl Jeanne Damas. In a night filled with beats played by DJ’s Tennessee Thomas and Alex Merrell, the merry-go-round presentation was a hit. The custom-made bike carousel featured Maison Jules X Martone bikes and music by Noemi Ferst. Social staples Chrissie Miller, Natalie Joos and Poppy de Villeneuve made appearances along with designer Katie Gallagher, model El Grace, blogger Scott Schuman of The Sartorialist and Christina Caradona of Trop Rouge.

The gallery setting was the perfect slate for a presentation that conjured charming memories from our amusement-park-filled childhoods. The collection boasts wearable designs with feminine silhouettes and dainty patterns. Accents like fedoras, sequins, metallic oxfords, topknots and round sunglasses completed the dreamy Parisian looks and made us feel like we were right around the corner from the Avenue des Champs-Élysées.
