Patrick Robinson is Back in Fashion, with His Very Own Line!

By  March 14, 2013

After a departure from his position as Gap’s head designer in 2011, Patrick Robinson took a bit of a respite from the fashion industry, but thankfully, it didn’t last long.

Building on his experience at design houses like Giorgio Armani, Anne Klein, Perry Ellis, and Paco Rabanne, Robinson has relaunched himself as a designer, with his very own line called Paskho. However, this collection is anything but typical. In keeping with the trends of today, Robinson opted to launch on Kickstarter, giving his audience direct access to provide their feedback and advice. Paskho, which means passion in ancient Greek, aims to be a luxury active wear and lounge collection for both men and women. Beginning today, fans can directly donate to the line, which will be available for pre-sale in April while full e-commerce will launch in mid-June.

Of his decision to work on the Kickstarter platform, Robinson explained, “I want a dialogue with you and I want you to be part of our community from its inception. It’s time for a new model in fashion – a simpler one. I make what you want, I sell directly to you, and together we reduce waste, reduce pricing, and make better products with more integrity.”

His collection employs a minimalistic aesthetic with a soulful feel, aiming to provide a wardrobe for the athletic urban individual. The line will include classic bomber jackets, cashmere knits, combat pants, and precise tees and will range in price from $45-$300.
