Personal Style 101: A TV Inspired Wardrobe

By  July 29, 2013

A great television show can take over your life.  I’m not talking about Bad Girls Club either, I am talking a series that is so well written and executed that it keeps you on edge until the following week (or locked in your bedroom watching Netflix round the clock).

This summer two great television series are coming to an end, Dexter and Breaking Bad. Why not celebrate these great series with style? I’m here to show you that you can bust out your inner TV geek while remaining stylish.

Don’t believe me? Check it out …

Dexter: Throw on Christopher Kane’s signature tape dress as an homage to being strapped to Dexter’s table. For the accessories; knife earrings (of course), an Eddie Borgo croc box bag will serve as your blood spatter analyst kit, and spiked Louboutin’s to keep things dangerous.

Breaking  Bad: What would Walter White do? He would dress conservatively with an edge  of course (a little Heisenberg perhaps). After all this chemistry teacher turned meth kingpin has to keep up appearances in suburbia while commanding authority in the lab.

Those are two of my favorite TV inspired looks. Which television shows inspire your personal style?
