Peter Pilotto Wins Big

Let’s go ahead and call it: the design duo behind British fashion brand Peter Pilotto is having the best year ever. In addition to an impeding—and so good—collection with mass retailer Target, Peter Pilotto was named this year’s British Fashion Council/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund winner.

The across the pond equivalent of being the winner of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, they will receive a year of mentoring and the US equivalent of  $300,000.

Christopher de Vos and Peter Pilotto are deserved winners of this year’s fund award. They have remained true to their vision of a print and color focused brand but have managed to expand and grow the business to a level where they can now compete on an international stage. It’s a pleasure to be able to support them, said Alexandra Shulman, editor of British Vogue and chair of the BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund.
