Plaits are generally pretty popular on the runway—remember how well the Alexander Wang Spring/Summer 2010 side braid went over with celebrities?—but we think this variation of the braided look is quite questionable at best.
At the Givenchy Spring/Summer 2011 runway show, models strutted the catwalk wearing a hairstyle that is best described as part wavy, part straight, part braided; a.k.a. the visual definition of strand schizophrenia.
