Best of Milan
Designers unveiled their spring 2007 collections in Milan, and while some lines stayed true to what they do best (Missoni didn’t disappoint with soft knits; Roberto Cavalli kept it spicy with animal prints), others colored outside the lines. Prada and Armani featured fun and funky hats—the former showing lots of turbans and the latter pairing fedoras with menswear-inspired pieces. We saw some themes again and again: bold, bright colors, sexy sequins, and deep jewel tones. And the star power was high too, with Paris and Nicky Hilton, Jay-Z, Prince, and Leonardo DiCaprio all making front-row appearances.
