Prabal Gurung has his eye on the sky for his newest collaboration.
After an incredibly successful partnership with Target, All Nippon Airways (ANA) tapped the designer to outfit their 10,000 flight attendants and ground staff with new uniforms. According to Women’s Wear Daily, the new attire will be unveiled in the coming months, and the staff will receive their new work wardrobe in the second half of 2014.
“The new uniform will pay homage to the history of the airline while incorporating a fresh and modern perspective,” Gurung told the trade publication. “I have been hugely inspired by this project, particularly incorporating my own personal passion for luxury and glamour with that created by ANA’s [crew] during the flight experience.”
