I'm an aspiring musician (drummer/percussionist) and writer. I've got a weak spot for fashion, beauty pageants (new to the scene but i enjoy it thus far), modeling, and makeup, but I'm also known to spend my time with a bunch of guys (the percussionists at my school), joke around with my dad and brother and be completely unrefined. I've been playing the drums for 7 years now, and mallet/concert percussion for 6. I have a few years of piano behind me, and still enjoy playing around. Just don't expect any Brahms concertos out of me. It ain't happening.

I should've been born in LA, NY, or Chicago to a millionaire family. Instead, I was born in Indiana to your normal Christian, working class parents. I'm definitely not complaining about my family. I love them to bits, and am so thakful for them. My 'humble' upbringing really helps me keep my attitude, temper, and harsh tongue under control. My faith is super important to me. I love God, and everything that goes along with following Him. :D

I also love my boyfriend, Brandon, to bits. We've been together for a year and a half and I'm positive we'll be getting married one of these days. :D

I'm as big of a bookworm as I am a musician. I love reading, and always have. I bought a giant purse, just so I could carry books with me at all times. I'll pick up just about anything. Chic lit scares me, sometimes, and Romance very rarely impresses me, but i am all for a good female author (classic or brand spankin' new). I love stories that talk about life, and strong characters overcoming adversity to become bigger, better, and stronger, and to achieve their dreams. History, politics, and religion are also interesting reads for me because to me, those 3 categories are things people need to know about to understand the world around them.

I also love writing. I've been writing since i was 12, and i have a whole book series in the back of my head, waiting to be completed. HEHE! I also write poetry, and lyrics, and to occasional prose or short stories. I also enjoy doing research papers. I don't do them outside of school, but a good amount of research is so fun to talk about in the final paper.

I'm in college for a degree in Music and Journalism (it's a joint degree basically). I just changed it from English Literature. I think journalism is something i can still enjoy, but I an also use practically. I also speak fluent French, and can say hello in 11 languages (last I checked anyway lol).

AFI is my favorite Band and Orlando Bloom is my favorite actor.
