Designer Tara Levitin grew up in Houston, Texas. After graduating from high school she decided that she wanted to jet set and moved to L.A. and then to NYC. She could not deny her love for her lone star state and moved home a few years later. It was then that she met the love of her life and had a beautiful baby girl with him. Tara knew that she didn't want to miss a minute of her baby girl's life so she decided to take her love for jewelry making and start up Leviticus Jewelry. Tara loves to see other women have confidence and love for themselves regardless of their shape, gender, or differences. Her goal is to make pieces that cater to each woman and help accentuate their beauty. The name Leviticus comes from the nickname Tara had for her late brother, Levi Levitin. He had a huge role in her life and is the reason why she is the person that she is today.
