I’ve been looking forward to this movie ever since I learned about it, and it opens in theaters tomorrow, May 16, 2008.

It follows the Pevensie children as they return to Narnia, only they’re shocked to discover that 1,300 years have passed in the magical land since their last visit. Everything has changed.

The kingdom is now presided over by the despicable King Miraz (Sergio Castellitto) who rules with an iron fist. So, Lucy, Edmund, Peter and Susan (Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, William Moseley, Anna Popplewell) must return the displaced Prince Caspian (Ben Barnes) back to Narnias throne to bring peace to the land.

Directed by Andrew Adamson, this movie is rated PG for epic battle action and violence. Official Site.

Finally, teenage Blanca (America Ferrera) meets a suave boy (Leo Minaya) who may have gotten another girl pregnant.

Philip (Anders Danielsen Lie) and Erik (Espen Klouman-Hoiner) are best friends and aspiring authors. After sending their first novels to all the big publishing houses, only Philip finds success, but ends up suffering a nervous breakdown and spending time in a psych ward. Erik, on the other hand, never gets published but also never gives up on his dream. Hmmm…a message to be happy, no matter what comes our way…?

Directed by Joachim Trier, “Reprise” hits theaters in limited release May 16, 2008. It’s rated R for sexuality and language. Official Site.
