Star Magazine has a picture of Tony Romo’s “mystery blonde.” This is the young lady, Romo zeroed in on Saturday, while celebrating his being back on the market in Chicago with several of his college buddies from his alma mater Eastern Illinois last Saturday. I guess we now know, Romo has a type.
A source denies that anything went on between Romo and Lindsey Betrus (the mystery blonde). The source said trying to clear the record: “Lindsey is a terrific, down-to-earth woman and she’s never been a Hooters Girl, as some people have mistakenly reported!. And as for her time with Tony, he was totally the aggressor that evening!”

Jessica Simpson’s rep continue to deny that her relationship with Romo is over. And perhaps in one of those little Hollywood arrangements to save face, Romo will be Jessica’s date to Ashley’s shotgun wedding this weekend. If that’s the case, Papa Joe Simpson will need to keep the shotgun trained on both his daughter’s men.

Award-winning country music star Shania Twain and her husband, music producer Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange, are separating after 14 years of marriage. Shania’s rep Jason Owen confirmed the news and said: “This is a private matter and there will be no further comment at this time.” Thank you very much.

Twain, 42, and Lange, 59, married in 1993, just six months after meeting, and have a 6-year-old son, Eja D’Angelo.

At the time, the Canadian born singer, was a budding country singer in Nashville with just a self-titled debut album under her belt.

Still, she managed to attract the interest of Lange, whose producer credits included working with artists like AD/DC, Def Leppard, Foreigner and Bryan Adams.

He encouraged her to pursue writing her own songs and together, they quickly crafted her sophomore release, the blockbuster album The Woman in Me, which generated hits such as Any Man of Mine.

Their collaboration continued through later albums Come on Over and Up!, which successfully crossed over into the pop realm and sold millions of copies around the globe.

With hits like You’re Still the One, That Don’t Impress Me Much and Man! I Feel Like a Woman, Twain became one of the world’s most popular female pop singers.

Twain has racked up trophies from the Grammy Awards, Juno Awards, the Academy of Country Music and BMI Songwriter Awards.

After releasing a greatest hits album in 2004, Twain said last year that she was working on a new album, tentatively set for release in 2008.

People Magazine reports that Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson have split up - AGAIN. The two started dating in 2006, but then they broke up and started dating again 2 months ago. There were rumors that Owen and Kate were engaged fueled by photos of Hudson wearing a Tiffany & Co. ring. fueled by photos of Hudson wearing a Tiffany & Co. ring.

The ring was a prop for her movie “Bride Wars. which Kate wore both on-and-off the set.”

A source close to Owen said it was a bad breakup for him,

“Owen said it was a tough one. He definitely doesn’t want to dwell on it. He wants to put it behind him.“

And put it behind him he did (this time, not so much though after the first break-up). Wilson dropped by N.Y.C.’s Upstairs with two women recently. According to an onlooker:

“He was pretty chummy with the ladies … he was certainly doing some sweet talking,” . “He looked happy to be there hanging with them.”

The late-night outing was followed by a visit to Butter the next night, where he chatted up a sexy blonde.

A source close to Kate said, “She feels dumb thinking it was so serious.“

A UK tabloid, The Daily Star claims Tom Cruise’s family and other Hollywood stars have been asked to get urgent medical checks because they could have been exposed to dangerous levels of deadly asbestos, on board a Church of Scientology cruise ship.

Freewinds, the 2 million dollar Scientology cruise ship, was said to be under seal on the Caribbean island of Curacao after cancer-causing asbestos particles were found on the 40-year-old vessel.

According to reports, deadly blue asbestos dust was released during refurbishment of the ship, used by the church as a floating education centers. The Church of Scientology cruise ship is also often used to host birthday parties and other VIP events.

Besides Tom Cruise, and his family (Katie and Suri), other celebrities alleged to have spent time on board include John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston, singer Lisa Marie Presley, Natural Born Killers actress Juliette Lewis, jazz great Chick Corea and JAG and Army Wives TV star Catherine Bell.

Experts warn that the guests could be at risk from the deadly disease mesothelioma.

Toxicologist Dr. Chris Coggins explains: This is the most dangerous type of asbestos because the fibers are smaller than the white asbestos and can penetrate the lung more easily.

Once diagnosed with mesothelioma, the victim has six months to a year to live. It gradually reduces lung function until the victim is no longer able to breathe and dies.

It can lay dormant for decades after exposure to blue asbestos, before causing cancer of the peritoneum the lining of the lung.

Anyone who believes they may have been exposed to asbestos should consult a doctor immediately, The Daily Star quoted a medic, as saying.

Two photo agencies have agreed to pay about $115,000 to Hugh Grant, his ex-girlfriend Liz Hurley and her husband for invasion of privacy over photographs taken of them on vacation.

The pictures, taken at a private resort in the Maldives, were published in Britains Daily Mail newspaper; and on their website in an article headed Hughs that gooseberry?; and in the News of the World newspaper in an article headed Liz does the blokey-cokey, and on their website. I don’t know about those article titles but it’s a British thing!

The photos were offered to a number of other newspapers and celebrity magazines in October 2007.

None of the three claimants was at the High Court in London to hear the settlement against Big Pictures (UK) Ltd and Eliot Press SARL.

The agencies have apologized unequivocally for using a long lens to violate the trio’s privacy and agreed to pay some of the groups legal costs.

Grant, Hurley and her husband, Arun Nayar, have released a statement saying it was “reprehensible” that photos were taken of Hurley’s son playing naked on the beach.

The trio plan to donate the money to a cancer charity.
