I’ve mentioned the 100K house here before, but head’s up - the blog is going strong, with all kinds of cool information regarding building thoughts, materials, and costs. Also you can catch all the most current photos, renderings and floorplans of the postgreen 100k house project at flickr. The interior shots are really neat.
If you’re lost read this for a quick run down: Will $100,000 Build A Good Green Home?

When it comes to unique living spaces, prefab tends to fall lower on the totem poll for me. I do like many prefab homes, I just rarely like them as much as other homes. I happen to love this Joshua Tree prefab though.

Ah beauty in a tiny package. You won’t believe how much living space is packed into this small home. It’s unbelievable.

Check it out - everything you need, and nothing you don’t. Just a great use of space; designed by Hanger Prefab (Hangar Design Group). This soothing gray color you see on the bunk walls is used throughout the entire home, which might get old you’d think, but it works really well.

To learn more visit Hanger Prefab, You can (and should) visit Materialicious to see a much larger Joshua Tree image showcase; which includes the stunning bathroom - long and narrow to fit the space, plus living space, sleek kitchen, and the beautiful master bedroom. If I were you, I’d hit this post: concrete art floors by transparent house while you’re at it. Lovely floors. Best I’ve seen in a while.

I don’t usually say, “Adorable” here that often, but this house is so darn cute. Not a water fan; but I could see living somewhere like this. It’s not only unique and cute, but peaceful looking.

Is there a catch? Yeah. I can’t find any info on this house, other then it’s in Berea, Ohio. I’ve been to Ohio, but it was oh so long ago, and I’m pretty sure I was never in Berea. So, all you Offbeat readers from Berea are going to have to come out of the woodwork and tell me about this cute little house.
