Ageless, timeless, and peerless, Donna Karan is the doyenne of New York fashion. Before the juice craze hit Manhattan, Karan was concocting her own – and the results speak for themselves. Take a page from her book for a healthier, happier season. Namaste!
How do you stay fit?A:
Yoga every morning! I take my yoga class every day – not only yoga, but it's nutrition, juicing. I mean, I've been doing yoga since I was 18 – that's the how bodysuits started. Yeah, that's how I got into bodysuits, and I'm still wearing bodysuits.
What stands out from your first collection?A:
What's your favorite New York City neighborhood?A:
Greenwich and Charles streets, where Urban Zen is. It's where the Village is, and it's where my late husband's studio is.
What are five things always in your fridge?A:
Green juice, water, salad, anything to do with vegetables, anything green. Green, green, green – I love green.
Do you have any hidden talents?A:
This is not my hidden talent, but I wish it was: I would love to be a dancer like Martha Graham and a singer like Barbra. Other than that, I'd be a designer instead.
Where do you like to shop?A:
That's why I'm a designer – it's easier to make my own clothes!
