Rachel Zoe’s Holiday Style Essentials

We recently had the opportunity to catch up with Rachel Zoe at Piperlime’s Piping Hot Lounge in SoHo. Before a much-anticipated meet-and-greet with fans (a lucky few of which snagged photos with Rachel and luxe gifts from Piperlime), the celeb stylist, fashion designer and reality TV star let us in on some of her style holiday style secrets and revealed this month’s Piping Hot Picks. Some of her favorites included faux fur jackets, oversized totes, gold jewelry and sparkly tops — everything needed to keep you looking chic and party-ready this month.

Tell us about your holiday Piping Hot Picks. Why did you choose those particular pieces?
It was hard to narrow it down, but these were things that I thought screamed great holiday picks. Each one of these pieces are really fun and very diverse, and great as gifts or to buy for yourself.

What are some essentials that every girl needs in her closet this holiday season?
I think faux fur is always great, and for this time of year, something with shearling — like a great little boot or a little bomber jacket. Also, a top with sequins and sparkles, whether it’s a jacket, a cardigan, a sweater, a t-shirt or a tank top. And tons of jewelry, of course.
