Reese Witherspoon Gives the Avon Walks a Running Start

The Avon Walks for Breast Cancer is held in nine cities throughout the country to raise awareness and funds for the Avon Foundation for Women. To kick off registration for this year’s walks, Honorary Chair of the Avon Foundation for Women Reese Witherspoon lent her talents to an online video inviting users to join the walks. She also provides a $25 registration discount and a chance to win free tickets to the premiere of her new movie, Water for Elephants, on April 17th at the Ziegfeld in New York. Users can enter to win by sharing the video through social networks like Facebook and Twitter. Proceeds raised by the walks provide breast cancer screenings, support and treatment for men and women regardless of their ability to pay, as well as funding for research.
