Reese Witherspoon is the latest actress to take a stab at creating a digital empire. But unlike Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop, Witherspoon’s lifestyle company, Draper James, will include a brick-and-mortar store!
“This multi-channel lifestyle brand founded by Reese Witherspoon will emphasize her southern roots and personal style,” E! News is reporting. “The first store will open in 2015.”
The company is named in honor of the mother of three’s grandparents. The brand will sell several products including bed/bath products, lingerie, handbags, kitchenware, fragrance, cosmetics, furniture, swimwear, pens, pencils, stationary, swaddling blankets and even plastic storage containers.
Considering the she tapped C.Wonder’s president Andrea Hyde to be her CEO, it sounds like Draper James is off to a great start. Whatever Reese is selling, we’re buying.
