Whatever is in the kool-aid that the folks in Kim Kardashian’s corner are sipping is mighty strong.
While her fiancé, Kanye West is touting the fashion powers that be in order to score Kardashian the cover of Vogue magazine, her other main man is setting down serious statements that she is the modern day Marilyn Monroe.
“I met her as the girlfriend of a good friend,” Givenchy’s creative director Riccardo Tisci said of his best friend’s girl. “I just wanted a moment with her to understand—and I fell in love. She’s the Monroe of our age. People think she’s like a doll, but she’s actually tough and clever.”
He goes on to say, “It’s not so much the beauty of people, but the talent, the roots, and the intelligence that concern me,” he told The Sunday Times. “I love people who are not scared to fight for their own rights and have their own point of view. The world is big: the music world is big, the art world is big and the fashion world is big, but I think you can recognize a tribe in the similarity of people.”
… But will that tribe land her a Vogue cover?
