Richard Chai x Acura Outfit S.H.I.E.L.D.

Richard Chai is getting in on the Hollywood action. The designer has created a limited edition driving glove inspired by the superhero movie Thor in partnership with Acura. The agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the intelligence and security organization of the Marvel Universe, drive Acura’s TL, MDX, ZDX and RL models and wear sleek black suits that fit Chai’s aesthetic. So much so that the modern look inspired Chai to create the black leather and charcoal suede gloves with patterning that mimics the curves and seams throughout the cars’ interiors. The snap of the glove features an embossed Acura symbol with the Richard Chai x Acura and S.H.I.E.L.D. logos on the inside tag.“As a designer, I am influenced by pop culture and enjoyed tapping into the fantastical world of Marvel,” said Chai. “The rich fabrics and details speak to the exquisite lines of an Acura.”

The Richard Chai x Acura glove will be available in June at Odin New York for $225.
