Rihanna Previews River Island Line via Behind the Scenes Video

While her on again off again boyfriend Chris Brown was busy punching Frank Ocean over a parking spot this weekend, Rihanna was getting her fashion feet wet by a last revealing some of her River Island clothing collection via a behind the scenes video. Though the line isn’t due in stores until March 5th, with a Rihanna for River Island London Fashion Week show on the way, teaser pictures via her Instagram, and now this lovely little video from the River Island HQ, our anticipation can hardly be contained. In the video, shot in black and white with a London backdrop and the pop artist’s own tunes carrying each scene, Rihanna reveals that she meant to design for “young, sassy personalities.” Inspired by the everyday styles of High Street, her pieces are casual yet flirty and edgy, sounding a bit like the pieces will take after her own fashion sense. It’s clear that Rihanna’s super involved in the line, from picking the looks to styling the models, and her excitement to be designing for River Island beyond genuine.
