Get this: Adam Selman put his line together for New York Fashion Week together in two months!

As Rihanna’s costume stylist, he is used to fulfilling demands in under 48 hours. Selman was also the head designer for the singer’s collaboration with River Island, which spurred him to do his own thing.

And, now he is— his Spring 2014 collection will be presented September 5th at Algus Greenspon Gallery during New York Fashion Week. His boyfriend and Rihanna’s stylist, 032c‘s Mel Ottenberg (who introduced the two) will do the styling. Selman wants to his line to be “accessible,” charging $400 for a dress. He hopes his line will start small and be distributed at Opening Ceremony, Net-a-Porter, and Barneys New York. “I would have to do something that I can’t manufacture,” Selman told Women’s Wear Daily. “That would be my worst nightmare.”

Congrats to him!
