Roberto Cavalli’s Sequined Skirt

Let’s talk about lace, sequins, and Roberto Cavalli. The three seem to go hand in hand (in hand), and we want in.  The designer sent a luxurious collection down the runway for Spring/Summer 2013, featuring slinky dresses with delicate beading and sequined embroidery as well as lace accents. No surprise there, as this consistently glamorous designer is always sure to include ornate embellishments.

Then, the design house tweeted this picture of Dakota Fanning donning a gorgeous Roberto Cavalli metallic colored sequined skirt on the cover of the December issue of InStyle UK. From the Fall 2012 collection, the gorgeous maxi would be a showstopper at any holiday black tie event this season. Oh, how we want thee.

Maybe we’d get a little crazy and pair our couture skirt with Jill Sander’s $300 paper bag purse, also on our luxe list.
