Rumor Has It: Michelle Obama to Wear Reed Krakoff for Her Second Vogue Cover

By  March 13, 2013

We are mere days away from the reveal of Vogue’s April cover and possible confirmation that Michelle Obama will grace the cover once again, but the big question is: who will she wear?

According to The Washington Post, the FLOTUS is set to wear Reed Krakoff on the cover. Robin Givhan told the publication that Annie Leibovitz also took photos of Obama in a Michael Kors ball skirt and sweater. The first lady is a big fan of both designers as she wore Krakoff at President Obama’s second official swearing in and for her second official portrait while she sported Kors on the campaign trail as well as on election night.

For her 2009 Vogue cover, Obama wore a pink Jason Wu dress while she appeared in Narciso Rodriguez and J.Crew in the spread.

The Cut notes that the focus this time around will be on her “Let’s Move” initiative for the glossy’s annual “Shape” issue. We can’t help but wonder is she’ll be showing off her shapely arms in the spread that’s set to his newsstands next week!
