Yowza! Lauren Conrad transformed from California girl to smoldering seductress as Allure’s April cover girl. The newly engaged entrepreneur rocks a sultry smoky eye and a Catherine Deneuve-inspired blowout with a sexy KaufmanFranco dress on the glossy’s cover that names her “The Girliest Girl’s Girl.”

On the pages, Conrad spilled on some of the changes she’s made since she became engaged to William Tell, which included making a space for herself and to stop working in bed. “If it was up to me, my home would be just over-the-top girlie and vintage, but I share my home with a gentleman now,” she told the magazine. “Your bed is for sleep and sex.”

While she normally stays clear of shadows, she was surprised at the fabulous job of Melanie Inglessis did. “I still feel like myself!” she exclaimed. Ingelssis kept the California spirit in the sexed up look thanks to a few drop of Clinique’s Up-Lighting Liquid Illuminator in Bronze that was dappled onto her cheeks, nose and forehead. As for the eyes, Inglessis drew a thick line just below the eyelids with the brand’s Kohl Shaper for Eyes in Black Kohl before smudging the Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes in Curvaceous Coal from the lid to the creases. Playing be the beauty rulebook, Inglessis polished the look by pressing the Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Curviest Caramel.

As for her tresses, Serge Normant kept it chic and sexy by prepping the hair with volumizing spray before blowing it out and loosely curling it. He brushed out the curls for smoothness, finishing the look with a tease at the crown and sides.

While this seductive look is sure to score style points for date night, we’re planning to pick up the issue when it hits newsstands to find out how we can get Conrad’s rose-colored life.
