A lone image from Kate Moss’s 60th anniversary Playboy spread has emerged. So, two things: one, the British supermodel is wearing clothes and two, she is dressed like an actual bunny, albeit a sexy one, but a bunny all the same.
Color us surprised.
When the January/February issue hits newsstands, we’ll see that Alex White styled the British Vogue contributing fashion editor in bunny ears, French cuffs, a black bustier with a bunny tail on the back, and black sky-high stilettos, all photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Rumor has it, though, for the cover photo we’ll see Moss minus the bustier.
“It’ll be a great issue,” Playboy founder Hugh Hefner told US Weekly back in September. “This is a massive global brand,” the magazine’s editorial director Jimmy Jellinek said of its cover girl. “You need a global icon in order to celebrate that—that was the impetus. You’re talking about the face of Burberry, the biggest supermodel in the world on the cover of Playboy. She’s the perfect partner for us to help launch the next 60 years.”
Not a bad way for Moss to bring in her 40th birthday, right? Or, we guess 60th as far as the men’s magazine is considered. We’ll keep our eyes out for more images from the spread.
