At the London premiere of The Expendables 3, he said he’s eyeing the Aliens alum for a female spinoff of his action-packed franchise, The Expendabelles. “With The Expendabelles we’ve got a situation where we’re in unchartered waters,” he said of the project, hinting that Weaver could be his on-screen wife. “Do we put all women actresses together, would that really work? Disney is looking to strike gold, again, with the creative force behind Frozen. The studio tapped screenwriter and director Jennifer Lee to adapt 1962 classic A Wrinkle in Time for the silver screen. [Time]

Should it come as a surprise that U.S. teens, ages 13—18, cite YouTube stars as bigger influences than Hollywood’s red carpet faves? A survey from Variety shows just that. According to the study, the top five most-influential personalities are all YouTube mainstays, and 10 out of the top 20 figures were online sensations. We’re going to ignore the fact that Drake flashed fiery images of Rihanna across his OVO Fest stage, implying she’s in cahoots with all things underworld. What we will comment on, and applaud, is this surprise appearance from Lauryn Hill, that gave Drake all types of feels. [Vulture]

As if Jersey ShoreGeordie Shore, and Warsaw Shore weren’t enough, MTV is headed south of the border. The network’s Latin American arm will debut Acapulco Shore this September with “drama, friendship, and partying” setting the tone. As long as we get to see some abs. [Variety]
