Step Up His Style: Shopbop to Offer Menswear Next Year

By  November 14, 2012

There will be a new, yet familiar, place to pick up designer duds for your man as Shopbop is set to unveil a menswear site. According to Women’s Wear Daily, the web site will launch in the latter half of 2013 and will be completely separate from its female counterpart but easy to toggle between, focusing on contemporary fashions with possible brands like Rag & Bone and Alexander Wang. The new e-commerce destination will have the same product videos, shops-in-shop with a curated assortment, 24-7 customer’s service as ShopBop, but the company is already on the hunt for a men’s buying team. “We have been asked for years by our customer and the industry to launch men’s,” a spokesperson for Shopbop told the publication. “Men’s wear is a natural progression. There will be an appropriate mix of designer that works for this ‘cool’ guy.” Will you pick up a piece or two for the man in your life when the site goes live?
