Skin School: Sunday Riley Talks Clear Skin at Jason Wu

The one thing every model needs? A flawless complexion. A pimple, a blemish—or gasp—a full-blown breakout is essentially catastrophic to their catwalk career.

Being that clear skin is every girl’s best accessory, Jason Wu had skincare aficionado Sunday Riley on hand to treat his models to mini-facials between hair and makeup, ensuring that their canvas would be clean and clear and ready for the runway.

“Each model will have most likely come from one or two shows before, so we’re removing their makeup and cleaning their model’s skin,” says Riley of the regimen she prepared especially for Wu’s Fall 2011 show. “And we’re mixing Juno ($125) with Skin Adrenaline ($185); it’s really effective in helping their makeup go on smoother.”
