Jay Z wears a Givenchy Americana themed t-shirt under a Tom Ford suit while opening the On the Run Tour in Miami on June 25. Beyoncé, stunned in a custom-made fishnet catsuit leotard by Versace. The musical power couple performed a tribute to Michael Jackson for the fifth anniversary of his death.
Bey looked fabulous wearing another custom-made Versace leotard during the 43-song setlist performance in Miami.
Jay Z wears Rodarte’s black, charcoal, and white custom “99 Problems” unisex jersey during the Miami performance. He’s got 99 problems, but style ain’t one.
The Queen turns up the heat and shows off a cheek-less leotard by Givenchy.
Next up: a fringe jumpsuit by Vrettos Vrettakos.
Beyoncé continues to show legs for days wearing a custom denim Diesel outfit designed by Nicola Formichetti during the Miami performance.
BLK DNM kept with Jay’s black and white motif, this time outfitting him in leather jacket 5, t-shirt 3, and tux pant 25 from the downtown NYC brand.
Bey, again wearing Michael Costello, and Jay, who topped his fit with a Trapstar London hat, definitely look “Drunk in Love.”
The Miami concert might as well be named the Bey bodysuit show. She looked extra fierce in a custom Alexander Wang leather version.
Beyoncé, wearing Michael Costello, fills in for Justin Timberlake and performs “Holy Grail” with her man—who appears to still be wearing his BLK DNM tuxedo pants—during the Miami concert.
This BLK DNM jacket, as seen in the duo’s trailer for “On the Run,” was customized with a print from Gardar Eide Einarsson, who collaborated with BLK DNM on its Spring 2014 collection.
On fire is right.
for Givenchy was responsible for this leather-heavy look.
In a more modest moment from the Miami show, Bey turned angelic in this Elie Saab pantsuit from the label’s pre-fall 2014 collection.
Jay was vested in BLK DNM for this look, a brand he wore regularly during his 2012 Watch the Throne tour with Kanye West.
Lesson learned from this show: Givenchy really knows how to make sexy one-pieces.
Miss Third Ward paid homage to her H-Town roots in this custom Diesel jacket, paired with denim cutoffs.
Bey closed the show in a Givenchy outfit while performing with Jay Z. The Carters showed clips of family videos with Blue Ivy and footage from their 2008 wedding during the Miami concert’s finale.
We may never know the outcome of Jay Z and Beyoncé’s On The Run trailer, but thanks to the debut of their first joint tour in Miami, one thing is sure: music’s most-powerful couple knows how to Shut. It. Down. We’re not going to babble on about their epic 43-song set list, which includes bangers like “Tom Ford,” throwbacks like “Baby Boy,” duets like “Forever Young,” and a twerk-filled rendition of “Crazy In Love” (take notes Miley). Nor will we gush over the reveal of rare footage from their intimate 2008 nuptials (intimate, as in everything the Kimye wedding was not). This “countdown” is what we like to call the OTR runway. From Young Hov rocking Rodarte to Queen Bey in custom Versace, Givenchy, and Alexander Wang, we’d be dazzled by the pair, even if the entire production was on mute. Couple their chart-toppers with the Carters’ chemistry and couture, and the result is nothing short of ***Flawless.Read More ↓
