The Winter Garden in New York City sprung to life Saturday as the Range Rover Evoque Live concert event launched the new car model all over the world. The concert was truly a global celebration as artists performed simultaneously in New York City, Milan, and Shanghai!
Vanessa Minnillo hosted the concert as the kick-off of the global tour of the 2012 Range Rover Evoque. She, along with many of the car company’s City Shapers, introduced a short film “Pulse of the City,” inspired by the colors, shapes, and sounds of cities just like the Big Apple.
Range Rover Evoque City Shaper Solange Knowles took to the decks to wake up the crowd early on Saturday with an hour set. Guests and fans jammed to the beats for an hour before the short film premiered.
As Cee Lo Green hit the stage, Range Rover digitally connected to two other concerts half a world away with Mark Ronson in Shanghai and Paolo Nutini in Milan. The highlights from those performances projected from screens while Green played all of his hits, including “Lady Killer” and “Forget You.”
Cee Lo Green’s performance of “Bright Lights Bigger City” in New York was simultaneously broadcasted for fans in Milan and Shanghai. He had a blast connecting to his fans worldwide. “It was very cool and exhilarating to be a part of it. New York is a great place, there’s no doubt about it,” said Green.
During the concert, Vanessa Minnillo checked out the Range Rover Evoque for herself. It is the smallest, lightest and most fuel-efficient Range Rover ever produced and will be on site at the Winter Garden through May 27th for the public to experience for themselves.
