Sarah Jessica Parker paired her Blank NYC overalls with a flow-y white top and black pumps for her appearance on The Ellen Show.
It's official: Emma Watson can make anything look chic. The actress donned a pair of black Frame denim overalls with a white button-down and Vince leather perforated sneakers.
Jessica Alba was the vision of summer fun in her Big Star USA denim and a striped tank underneath.
Geek chic alert! Keira Knightly does it right with her Citizens of Humanity overalls, striped 3/4-sleeve shirt, converse and glasses.
If Olivia Palermo wears it, that means it's a trend to try, right? We love her dark Paige overalls and funky flats.
Alessandra Ambrosio opted for a slim-fitting pair, called The Drop Out from Mother Denim, while running errands with her adorable son.
Diane Kruger looked laid-back but totally put together in her MiH Jeans dungarees and a lacy tank.
Heidi Klum looked ready for playtime with her kiddies in a pair of bleached Citizens of Humanity Quincy overalls.
Elle Fanning went for a pair of white short-alls from American Apparel, and made them pop with a gray t-shirt, cozy Acne sweater, Theirry Lasry sunglasses and metallic Miu Miu sneakers.
Vanessa Hudgens went the short route with cut-off Blank NYC overalls, complete with a black tank and leather baseball cap.
Gwen Stefani reinvented the overall look by letting the straps of her Paige Sierra Overalls hang down by her legs.
Hilary Duff did the same with her One by Black Orchid denim, and topped the look off with a plain white tee and a bun.
Rihanna takes a stab at the trend—and pretty much hits a bullseye. The singer accessorized her Topshop Moto Bleach Long Leg Dungarees with delicate Sophia Webster sandals and a bubblegum pink handbag.
Selena Gomez added a pair of sexy sandals to her Black Orchid Boyfriend overalls to infuse a little bit of attitude.
January Jones went for a dark, relaxed fit in a pair of Black Orchid Boyfriend overalls.
Katie Holmes stepped out with daughter, Suri, in a worn-in pair of Madewell overalls. She completed her relaxed look with a slouchy tee, sweater and side-braid.
Julianne Hough bundled up with an oversized scarf, but her Wildfox Chloe Overalls took center stage.
Don't lie, we know you've been thinking really hard about whether or not to flashback to the '90s and don some overalls. It's tempting and trendy, but is it truly something we should be breaking out of the vault now that it's 2014? Didn't we leave that trend behind us, along with platform flip-flops and scrunchies? The resounding answer should be "Yes! We've Matured!" but leave it to the fashion set to find ways to reinvent all the bad trends (note the simultaneous comeback of backpacks and jelly shoes) of yesteryear. And, to our surprise, plenty of our fashion icons are jumping aboard the new-fangled overall train. SJP's on it, Rihanna is experimenting and Alessandra Ambrosio is a repeat overall offender. Each of these fashionable ladies put her own spin on the (previously excommunicated) trend and actually managed to look rather cool. Using them as inspiration, feel free to indulge in that flashback—but not so far as to start up with those horrendous butterfly clips again.Read More ↓
